About Us

We've lived through the complexity.

Migrations, replatforms, scaling pain, and technical debt. We've seen what works, what doesn't, and why most stores eventually hit the same walls.

Our philosophy

We believe that ecommerce is a system, not a collection of tools. Success comes from understanding how design, technology, and operations interact—and building solutions that work across all three.

Experience over credentials

We've worked with stores at every stage—from first-year startups to established brands doing eight figures. That pattern recognition shapes everything we do.

Clarity over complexity

We're allergic to jargon, unnecessary complexity, and solutions that require you to trust us blindly. If we can't explain it clearly, we haven't thought it through.

Partnership over transactions

Our best client relationships span years. We're invested in your long-term success, not just the next project. That accountability changes how we work.

FAQ

Questions about who we are

Learn more about our team and how we work.

How large is your team?
We're intentionally small—a core team of senior practitioners rather than a large agency with layers of account managers and junior staff. This means you work directly with experienced people who understand both strategy and implementation. We scale through depth of expertise, not headcount.
Where are you located?
We're based in Portland, Oregon, and work with clients across North America and beyond. Most of our work is remote, though we're happy to meet in person when it makes sense. Time zone differences rarely present problems—we're flexible and responsive regardless of location.
How long have you been doing this?
Our team brings over a decade of experience in ecommerce, with deep expertise specifically in Shopify. We've worked on stores at every stage—from early startups to established brands doing eight figures. That breadth of experience shapes how we diagnose problems and design solutions.
What kinds of stores have you worked with?
We've worked across many verticals—fashion, beauty, home goods, food and beverage, outdoor gear, and more. While industry context matters, the underlying patterns of scaling Shopify stores are remarkably consistent. The challenges a $3M apparel brand faces often mirror those of a $5M kitchenware brand.
Do you work with stores outside the US?
Yes. We work with international stores regularly, including those with multi-currency, multi-language, or multi-region requirements. Shopify's capabilities for international commerce have expanded significantly, and we help stores navigate the complexity of selling globally.
Can we talk to past clients?
For clients considering a significant engagement, we're happy to make introductions to past clients who can speak to their experience working with us. We believe our work speaks for itself, and hearing from others who've been through the process can be valuable.

Let's talk about what's actually limiting your growth.

No pitch decks. No package presentations. Just a thoughtful conversation about your store, your goals, and whether we're the right fit.
