FAQ

Questions about working together

Common questions about how we engage, what to expect, and whether we're the right fit.

How do you structure engagements?
We typically work in one of three models: focused projects with defined scope and deliverables, strategic engagements for ongoing optimization and support, or long-term partnerships where we function as an extension of your team. The right structure depends on your goals, timeline, and how your business operates.
What size stores do you work with?
We work best with established Shopify stores—typically those doing $1M+ in annual revenue—that have outgrown surface-level fixes and need strategic, systems-level thinking. That said, revenue alone isn't the deciding factor. What matters more is whether you're facing complexity that requires senior expertise.
Do you work with stores on other platforms?
Our focus is exclusively on Shopify and Shopify Plus. This specialization allows us to understand the platform deeply—its strengths, limitations, and the patterns that emerge as stores scale. If you're considering migrating to Shopify, that's something we can help with.
How do you price your services?
Pricing depends on scope, complexity, and engagement type. We don't publish fixed packages because every store's situation is different. After an initial conversation to understand your needs, we provide transparent pricing tailored to your specific project or engagement.
What's the typical timeline for a project?
Timelines vary significantly based on scope. A focused performance optimization might take 4-6 weeks. A strategic redesign could be 3-4 months. A full rebuild or migration typically runs 4-6 months. We'll give you realistic timelines during our initial conversation—we don't promise fast and deliver slow.
Do you offer ongoing support after a project?
Yes. Many clients transition from project work to ongoing partnership. This provides continuity—we already understand your system, your goals, and your constraints. Whether you need strategic guidance, technical support, or help planning the next phase of growth, we're set up for long-term relationships.
How do you handle communication during projects?
We adapt to how your team works. Most clients prefer a combination of async updates (typically Slack or email) and regular check-in calls. You'll always know what's happening, what's next, and if anything needs your attention. We don't disappear for weeks and resurface with surprises.
What if we're not sure what we need?
That's actually a common starting point. Many stores know something isn't working but aren't sure where to focus. We can start with a diagnostic engagement to identify constraints and opportunities, then recommend the right path forward. Sometimes that leads to project work with us; sometimes it means internal changes we can advise on.

Let's talk about what's actually limiting your growth.

No pitch decks. No package presentations. Just a thoughtful conversation about your store, your goals, and whether we're the right fit.
